Learning Transverse Momentum Distributions from Raw Scattering Events via Conditional Diffusion

Transverse momentum distributions are normally extracted from scattering data through a chain of binning, correction, and fitting steps, each of which discards information. This work trains a conditional diffusion model directly on raw event-level data, learning the distribution without that intermediate pipeline.
